The Endowment Deed stipulates that should the growth in the Endowment’s income allow, the Founder or the Council of Trustees may, assign some funds to prizes aimed at supporting the work of scholars, researchers, authors, and poets. This is in addition to supporting original compositions, translations, and publications. This is especially aimed at authors of best works of prose or poetry that have appeared in the journal Āyandeh. It is therefore, necessary to encourage authors and poets to compose patriotic, national, and socially responsible prose and poetry by holding competitions, and awarding prizes from the endowment's income to the best of such works.
During the lifetime of the endower, these matters will be managed by him in consultation with qualified people among his friends and acquaintance. After his demise, they shall be the responsibility of a six-person board, four of whom will be trustees and the other two shall be chosen from the board of directors of the Āyandeh Publishing Company, or anyone whom they appoint to serve in their stead.
